27th March,2019

On March 28 at 16:00 Moscow time, on the portal “Education in Russian” will be a webinar “Shelter, shining muses dressed; Trigorskoye in the life and work of Alexander Pushkin”.

Trigorskoye is inextricably linked with the life and work of Alexander Pushkin. Currently, it is part of a large Museum complex “Pushkin Reserve”, located in the Pushkinogorsk district of the Pskov region.

In the years of exile (August 1824 – September 1826) Alexander Pushkin essentially became a member of a large family Trigorskoye, which consisted of the owner Trigorskoye Praskovia,  Alexandrovna Osipova and her children – Anna Eupraxia, Alexis, Michael, Valerian, Mary, Catherine, stepdaughter Alexandra.

Masterpieces of Pushkin such as “I remember a wonderful moment ...”, “Hello Wolf, my friend  ...”, “Imitation of the Koran”, “If life deceives you  ...”, “Confession” are dedicated to the Trigorskoye and its inhabitants. Contemporaries called Trigorskoye house as “House Larin”.

Throughout his life, the Trigorian friends of the poet, later their descendants, kept memories of the poet, his gifts, portraits, personal belongings, Pushkin's autographs - letters, poems, madrigals inscribed in ladies' albums, books with his dedication. All this became the basis of the first home museum of memory of A.S. Pushkin, and later opened on August 21, 1962, the house-museum of Osipov-Wulf in the Pushkin Reserve.

During the webinar, Trigorskoye’s atmosphere will be described by the keeper of the Trigorskoye Museum-Estate (Pushkin Reserve) Rimma Burchenkova.
