Exhibition "Achievements of Russian Science"
On February 8, 2019, Russian Centre of Science and Culture organized a photo exhibition on the theme “Achievements of Russian Science”, which was timed to the Day of Russian Science.
It was recalled that every year, the domestic scientific community in Russia celebrates this professional holiday since February 8, 1999, when this holiday was established by decree of the President of the Russian Federation. One of the first visitors of the exhibition were schoolchildren from the Ambition Academy. 2019 was proclaimed by the UN as the International year of the periodic table of chemical elements discovered by Russian scientist D. Mendeleev back in 1869. In continuation of the event, RCSC staff organized an interactive master class "Chemical experiments". Children were shown simple chemical experiments that can be carried out with the help of improvised means, objects and food of daily use. In addition to fun and interesting pastime students were able to learn something new.
The main purpose of the program was to expand knowledge and awaken students ' interest in both chemistry and science in General, it's no secret that we live in an era that can rightly be called the century of science and technology.
The management and teaching staff of the Ambition Academy expressed gratitude to RCSC for organizing such an informative event. The program ended with sweet treats for children and General photography.
