Opening of the art exhibition "Russia – Nepal: Light of the Celestial Worlds "by the Russian artist N. Zaitseva-Borisova
On September 11, Russian Center for Science and Culture (RCSC) in Kathmandu opened the art exhibition "Russia – Nepal: Light of the Celestial Worlds “by the Russian artist Natalia Zaitseva-Borisova. The event was prepared and conducted by the Rossotrudnichestvo office in Nepal.
Guests of the exhibition were welcomed by Yulia Androsova, Director of the Rossotrudnichestvo Representative office in Nepal. She then handed the floor to the chief guest of the event, Yuri Ivanovich Yuzhaninov, charge d'affaires of Embassy of the Russian Federation in Nepal, who told about his impressions of the paintings and the paintings presented at the exhibition.
The main theme of the exhibition is the Russian and Nepalese landscape, made in the traditions of the Russian school of landscape painting. The author of the works - Natalia Zaitseva-Borisova - is an artist, to whom great influence was rendered by the art of the Silver Age and the work of the artist Nikolai Roerich. In her work Natalia Zaitseva-Borisova strives for subtle beauty.
The exhibition made an unforgettable impression on the guests; more than 20 positive reviews and comments were written in the Book of Wishes of the RCSC.
More than 130 people attended the opening of the exhibition.
The exhibition will last until September 19 at the RCSC, where everyone can get acquainted with the works of the modern Russian artist Natalia Zaitseva-Borisova.
