Day of Russia in Nepal
On June 12, 2019, the Embassy of the Russian Federation, together with Russian Centre of Science and Culture, held a reception on the occasion of the Day of Russia at the Radisson Hotel.
It was attended by members of the Government of Nepal, Representatives of Ministries and Agencies, as well as heads of Diplomatic Missions, Russian Compatriots, Partner and Friendly organizations.
In his speech, the Chargé d’Affaires of the Russian Federation in Nepal Yu. I. Yuzhaninov congratulated all those present on the main holiday of Russia and spoke about the positive results of the past year as a whole regarding Russian-Nepalese relations.
On behalf of the Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal, the Vice-President of Nepal, Rt. Honorable Nandra Kishore Pun, attended the reception.
The guests were presented a cultural program with modern and classic dance forms.
At the same time, Rossotrudnichestvo and the Russian Geographical Society organized a photo exhibition “The Most beautiful Country" in the lobby of the Radisson hotel on the occasion of Day of Russia.
The festive event ended with a buffet for guests.
From June 13 to June 24, the exhibition will be exhibited at the RCSC.
