Round table “Higher education in Russia: student recruitment in 2021”

    On February 8, 2021, the Russian Center for Science and Culture (RCSC) organized a round table on the topic “Higher education in Russia: enrollment of students in the 2021/22 academic year”.

    Director of RCSC, Ms. Yulia Androsova spoke about the quotas, rules, regulations and other necessary information provided by the Government of the Russian Federation to Nepal for the possibility of obtaining free education for Nepalese applicants in Russia.

    A new Internet platform was introduced to the audience, including the Minister-Counselor of the Russian Embassy in Nepal Evseev V. V., the representative of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology – Hari Khanal, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs – Srijana Adhikari, the president of the Association of Graduates of Soviet and Russian Universities “Mitra Kunj” - Dhurba Maharjan.

    The main purpose of the event was to provide the necessary information for the selection of potential candidates for higher education in Russia for the 2020/21 academic year and to receive information from the Nepalese side about the most attractive areas of study for students.
